ADVERTISERS

Chair: Linda Miner – Vice Chair: Obtain annual, monthly and event sponsors. This committee is the primary point of contact between sponsors and secure logos and materials to place at meetings and events. Introduce sponsors at each meeting and event. Meets bi-monthly 2nd Tuesday, 12:00pm

 

BYLAWS & STANDING RULES

Chair: Suzy Smith - Vice Chair: Bobbye Mills:  Review bylaws and standing rules as needed, submit amendments to national for approval, develop and review standing rules periodically. Meets bi-monthly 2nd Tuesday, 11:00am


eDUCATION

Chair: Mimi Ortiz Plan programs that will increase member’s productivity and income that are consistent with the needs of the members. The impact of the Women’s Council of Realtors on the member increases when the local chapter provides meaningful education for a more professional and successful career in real estate. Coordinate speakers and panelists and evaluate programs impact and success. Meets quarterly 3rd Wednesday 1:15pm

FINANCE & BUDGET

Chair: Bobbye Mills – Vice Chair: Perform the audit of the 2010 chapter books and prepare an annual budget for the year. Review budget and actual expenses quarterly and prepare a budget for the ways and means committee for all fundraising activites. Meets quarterly 3rd Wednesday 1:15pm

 

HOSPITALITY

Chair: Rosalie Lang Welcome newcomers to the chapter and introduce them to members, encourage unity and friendship within the chapter. Assign visiting state or national officers to an escort. Ensures Women’s Council sign is at each program attached to the podium.  Meets bi-monthly 3rd Wednesday 10:00am (before business meeting)


MEDIA

Chair: MaiLan Trin - Vice Chair: Promote and maintain favorable image of the chapter in eyes of the public. Prepares and releases chapter activities and member achievements as required. Takes photos at meetings and events and writes the quarterly newsletter. Meets bi-monthly Tuesday, 10:00am

 

MEMBERSHIP MARKETING

Chair: Joseph Petrie – Vice Chair: Recruits new members by planning membership campaigns that encourage and challenges members to recruit new members. Create a new member packet and brochures. Design a phone tree system to communicate with chapter members as needed. Works closely with the VP of Membership. Meets monthly 2nd Tuesday, 2:00pm

 

NOMINATING

Chair: Catherine Farah Coordinates and conducts the interviews for the 2012 candidates for officers. The slate must be selected by July 1, 2011 and presented to the governing board at the July meeting. Meets for annual elections in June 2011 
 
 

WAYS & MEANS

Chair: Caroline Phillips Selects fundraisers and events to raise money for the chapter. Signature events ways and means has managed include: Top Model Fashion Show, Realtours of Luxury Home Tour, etc.  Meets monthly 2nd Tuesday 2:30pm
 

WEBSITE

Chair: Tiffany Curry
Design and maintain the chapters website to be an online resource and to showcase our visibility in the community.
